Give it to everyone and the people that feel they don’t need it can donate it. We’ve turned a huge part of the economy into a gig economy and unless someone has an easier/more efficient program to properly capture this, then giving it to everyone is the answer.

My main problem is that the only word that congressional Dems and their cadaverous presumptive nominee should have in their vocabulary right now is “more”, and instead they are doing carve outs and means testing. It’s extremely frustrating. They could keep the high ground here but they aren’t interested in doing that.
Maybe not literally worse than the alternative, but not substantively better in this case. The net is undefended and they’re just like ¯_(ツ)_/¯ how we gonna pay for it?

I understand their position though. When people see how easy it is for the government to get cash assistance to everyone and also that it doesn’t wreck the economy and the sky doesn’t fall, it’s going to be evident that the demE wing has been fos and the Bernie wing has been right for ages. Pelosi understands that passing a comprehensive bill now is a threat to everything she has built.
