This book, by a philosopher, goes pretty deep into the weeds of the cognitive science and argues that the brain is more of a “predicting reality” system than an “experiencing reality” system. This is radical.
It’s always alternates for me but I’ve noticed that she opens her mouth right after the moment she says “green needle” but opens before she finishes annunciating “brainstorm.”
First time I saw something like this was at De La Guarda which was this very popular off Broadway show a million years ago here in the city. Here’s a long-form trailer where the wall stuff is about 30 seconds in.

it’s an amazing hike, but it gets people because it’s downhill in, then uphill out…so once people have sunned themselves and gotten good and dehydrated/hot, THEN they have to hike up and out.
And of course, most of them are idiots like those girls, who are completely unprepared for the conditions. There is NO shade and it’s definitely not the easiest hike in the county either.
Best time is in the spring when the falls are running.
