I hope you buttholes are watching these especially PERRY it’s really good
Agreed, both are very good, although they make for some weird nightmares to start off the work week.
I’ll be Gone in the Dark is an amazing read but even if you don’t read the whole thing, the epilogue is fucking unbelivable. Michelle McNamara never lived to see the Golden State Killer arrested, but she pulled a Babe Ruth and pointed to the stands before hitting a homerun and describing exactly how he’d be caught. She knew exactly how he’d be caught after decades of hiding.
One day soon, you’ll hear a car pull up to your curb, an engine cut out. You’ll hear footsteps coming up your front walk. Like they did for Edward Wayne Edwards, twenty-nine years after he killed Timothy Hack and Kelly Drew, in Sullivan, Wisconsin. Like they did for Kenneth Lee Hicks, thirty years after he killed Lori Billingsley, in Aloha, Oregon.
The doorbell rings.
No side gates are left open. You’re long past leaping over a fence. Take one of your hyper, gulping breaths. Clench your teeth. Inch timidly toward the insistent bell.
This is how it ends for you.
“You’ll be silent forever, and I’ll be gone in the dark,” you threatened a victim once.
Open the door. Show us your face.
Walk into the light.
This is perfect to read before I head to sleep ty

Kevin Hart joins a small collection of other actors willing to take shats at themselves by playing himself in a movie about how much he sucks. Previous “wow that was actually pretty awesome” entries include
and the upcoming Nic Cage feature titled The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
Man, the Epstein documentary on Netflix is just brutal to watch. Okay, you probably already guessed that, but still.
I watched it with 10% of my attention. I just couldn’t.
I never watch anything and I just finished the first season of Dark. Thanks, guys. On to the second.
Don’t know if there are any Corporate fans here but season 3 is finally coming on July 22.
Athlete A, about the abuse of gymnasts by Nassar and USAG itself, is also brutal. Just so many people out there who had no problem mentally and physically abusing teenage girls for decades still walking around free today.
Compared to the Epstein doc, I found myself able to watch Athlete A with my full attention. I think because I followed that story with great interest and knew the survivors would see justice. Epstein still justice in progress.
#4 was the most interesting one to me. Update what you think when you finish.
actually finished it last night, i had forgotten about it.
I’m gonna go with hate crime. Dunno what else it could be, doubt that they missed his body when they searched originally at the creek so someone moved it there after. I guess theres some possiblility that the dude had some kind of accident and they felt like it was going to look bad or something. They said there was an argument before his friend left so theres some reason to be concerned that he had made someone mad.
I’m four eps into Unsolved Mysteries. It’s not must see TV, but I kinda like watching an episode over dinner. #3 was my favorite so far. Re: episode 4:
Seems like the easiest explanation is that the cops just did a half-assed search the first time.
yea but still murder right?
Friday is better for me
