Wordle is basically too easy, but I do like how once in a while you can randomly go down all the wrong paths and give yourself a sweat in the last couple of guesses. So, basically, those moments of preserving my streak were the sum of the thrill of the game for me.
And I play on my browser and this morning it redirected me to NYTimes. I crushed the word, but it had no memory of my current streak.
My stats are still there on the NYT site. I was concerned at first, since it showed me how to play, indicating that it likely didn’t have my stats, but I clicked the stats icon before I started and everything looked fine.
I agree with the difficulty rankings above. With Quordle, you can burn 3 guesses to get 15 letters, and then you’re usually far enough along to make guesses that give you 2 or 3 new letters per guess.
