Now I understand why that food article had Chocolate chip cookies for the US. The world sucks at cookies.

And chocolate chip cookies are the GOAT cookie by a wide margin. The only reason to eat another cookie is if chocolate chip are not available.

Iā€™ve just this minute realised that ā€œthe Reylo shipā€ isnā€™t a cool new spaceship from the new Star War. Suddenly the last few days of twitter make (a little) more sense.

Feels like the only time in my long life I have ever been able to see the hour long episodes (Outside of streaming now ldo)

For a mortgage I donā€™t see a problem with it but if you are renting and ever get into a dispute with your landlord it would make it more difficult to put the rent into a escrow account until the dispute is resolved.

In my defence, Iā€™ve been aware of ā€˜shippingā€™ for many years and I couldnā€™t care less about Star Wars. I forget which one was the last I watched, but I switched it off half-way through.

Please explain this further, because as I currently understand it youā€™re saying itā€™s not cool to call the cops on drunk drivers?

Edit: read thread further. Sure, if you know them then try and help them home. Otherwise, fuck em.

I wish people had reported my dad when he drunk drove with us kids in the car. Particularly before the time he had an accident with me in the car.

Iā€™d call the cops on a drunk driver, but if I were a better person Iā€™d pull them over and smash their car up with a tire iron.

Thatā€™s fair. FWIW, I would have made the same mistake had you not explained it in the same post.

Iā€™ve only called the cops once on a dangerous driver. They let him go. (I obv mean stayed way, way, way, way fucking behind, some other people decided to risk their own lives because well, canā€™t waste two minutes of TV watching, good for them I guess)

Only kept driving in the other lane and he almost hit a semi head on. That wouldā€™ve been fun to hopefully not have gotten hit myself.

The casino I used to work at was on a reservation, with a twisty 2-lane road as the only access.

I reported a drunk driver once every 2 months or so. It was blatantly obvious they were drunk. I have no qualms about doing this. Pretty sure the 911 operators knew me by name by the end of my 5 years there.

I only saw a few get pulled over. If the cop didnā€™t find them by the time they made it to the freeway, they were pretty much gone.

Some teens today, though they were born in the year 2000 or shortly after, crave to go back in time and experience the era just out of their grasp. They feel, like so many young people before them have, like they missed out on the best time by just a decade or two.

ā€¦

Listening to ā€œoldā€ music and running an Instagram account are simply ways to feel more connected to life in the early aughts. ā€œI donā€™t listen to any music from today, everything is early 2000s for me,ā€ Nicole said. ā€œI donā€™t like Spotify. I listen to CDs on my pink radio. Everyone teases me for it but it makes me feel connected to the early 2000s.ā€

Though she owns a Motorola flip phone, Nicole still mostly relies on her iPhone to connect with her equally 2000s-obsessed friends. They all have group chats and keep in touch via social media. ā€œInstagram and YouTube are so modern,ā€ Nicole said, ā€œbut I use them to appreciate the early 2000s.ā€

lol group chat posers. aol instant messager or die.

Iā€™m to old for anyone to listen to, but Iā€™ve thought the early 2000s had the worst music of my life for a while. That was when Linkin Park was big, wasnā€™t it?
