I’m starting to think that we’re headed for a two tier country, where people are going to aggressively decide to move to a place that is either blue or red. When I left med school, we talked about where we wanted to live, and probably only ruled out four or five states, mostly on climate concerns. There are now probably (at a minimum) 30 states or so that I would NEVER consider making home and most of them have nothing to do with climate.

The FEC has a definition of bundling:
A bundled contribution is any contribution that is either (1) forwarded to a reporting committee by a lobbyist/registrant or lobbyist/registrant PAC; or (2) received by the reporting committee and credited to a lobbyist/registrant or lobbyist/registrant PAC through “records, designations, or other means of recognizing that a certain amount of money has been raised.”
Examples of crediting someone for bundling include giving someone a title, tracking identifiers, or giving out mementos for people who raise a certain amount. So, yes, having a reference code sounds like it fits the definition of bundling.
Bundling isn’t inherently bad, but I don’t think Warren is talking about grassroots efforts like ActBlue when she criticizes bundling. Trying to ban semiautomatic weapons doesn’t mean you’re going after hunting rifles. Criticizing big donor bundlers doesn’t mean going after people like your friend.
The bigger concern that people might have about Buttigieg is that he doesn’t have the same instincts for transparency that other candidates might have, if it requires criticism from other candidates to get him to open up fundraisers to the press and reveal his bundlers.
And I’m not saying that makes him a bad person, that he needed to be pushed. It’s quite reasonable that he’s just things the way that they have always been done. I don’t see him as GOP lite, but I do have concerns that he’s too much of a mainstream Democrat who might have progressive policy choices, but who will rely on establishment methods of politics.
I am open to the idea that he is worthy of consideration for at least the VP slot, but that is one of the concerns I have about him.

I do agree with this. Like. The tweet thread with all of the videos is incredibly disingenuous, but Cenk overall sucks and doesn’t seem like a smart or particularly good guy. It was a bad endorsement and, while it shouldn’t be actually damaging to the Sanders campaign given how minor it is in comparison to the terrible shit other people do and say every day, I’m not going to defend it.
They kicked Walker’s useless ass to the curb, which may be a good sign. Gonna depend on the Milwaukee vote, also known as “God I hope they show up” voters.

I thought the emolument stuff should have been higher on the list to go after - no one in bumfuck cares about Ukraine, but they understand when rich people are lining their pockets. But whatever.
