Yeah after she had already qualified for the December debates too. Def from out of nowhere, although maybe the bad press she got lately was the last straw. This could be huge for Yang and Gabbard if the pollsters can do polls between now and the Dem debate cutoff that exclude Harris. No idea how long the turnaround time is on those polls though.
buhbye. See ya later narc. Very curious to see who gets her supporters.
not sure which ones are scheduled to come out by the 12th, which is the deadline.
oh, forgot to put this here. Itās official:

Both of them are devastated.
Remember when her response to Tulsi bodying her in that one debate was āwell, Iām a top tier candidateā
Amazing
She was polling at like 3%. Any defection from her supporters will be indistinguishable from noise in polling data. Wonāt stop pundits from spending weeks talking about it as if itās a real thing though.
She actually dominated the first debate too, the āthat little girl was meā moment has to be one of the top all-time debate dunks, the delivery was absolutely perfect. Itās been all downhill since then.
Meh I thought it was cringey and not at all genuine. Which was a lot of her problem I think. Instead of pretending to a compassionate figure she should have embraced being a cop - thereās obviously an appetite for that within the party.
Itās a good point. I think the optics of staying in for the people still in the race and polling lower than she was just got a lot worse. Maybe this will be the start of a string of drop-outs: Booker/Castro/etc.
After the last debate, do you really think there are a bunch of Kamala ā> Gabbard voters?
Bloomberg sighting in there.
Program ending this year though.
Iām really hoping being a law and order DA is now really bad for your political career. Thatās one of the few things that I think could legit start moving the justice system in the right direction.
Iām sorry but this mass incarceration era is going to look REALLY bad in hindsight.
GTFOH with this
Edit: Smacc25ā¦ Removed offensive language & sexism.
Sheās a smart law bro who did a really good job at the Senate hearings. She should have gone with expertise and competence and not feigned fiery passion - HRC should have done that too.
I had a suspicion something like this was coming after that aideās resignation letter.
That would work too.
Candidates drop out when they run out of money or no longer wish to spend any. Candidates on a shoestring budget who are trying to boost their recognition or push a pet issue are going to stay in a lot longer than you might think.
Hard to understand wtf happened with Harris, I assume ~everybody here snap takes Harris over Biden as the moderate alternative, and she had a decent surge after the first debate and took the Predictit lead if that counts for anything. But after Red Sparrow kneecapped her she fell off the map. Iām guessing tales of being a woat campaigner are incoming.
There have been some pieces already written about how terribly run her campaign wasā¦ Something I consider to be very important. The president is first and foremost a manager. A presidential campaign is a large organization that is geographically very spread out and requires a decent amount of organizational ability to run correctly. Either the candidate has to have good people behind them and know how to delegate well or they have to be a fantastic organizer. Failure to either pick good people, and/or manage them well is indicative that they wonāt be a good POTUS imo.
I suspect Harris had bad people and managed them poorly.
