At a very surface level there’s nothing wrong with her proposal, and it will likely help millions and millions of families in a very positive way.

Kamala should probably just say free daycare if that’s what she means. I assume her plan doesn’t mean the teachers have to work two hours extra everyday but I haven’t seen it. What’s the deal anyway? Is she afraid that people will think she’s too much of a socialist if she says free daycare? She wants to seem tough on students and say 2 hours extra School?

It’s a stupid attention seeking plan that has zero chance of ever getting off the ground as proposed or being viable. If she’s talking about daycare just say daycare. What’s her proposal for summers? Hey kids ages 6 through 16… 52 weeks of school year round from 9-5, Mon thru Fri !

The bill would also require the school to find a private or non-federal public funding source, such as state grants or philanthropy organizations, to match 10 percent of the federal grant money, a stipulation intended to help the programs remain sustainable after the initial grant money has run out. The matches can be money or an in-kind contribution in the form of volunteer staff time, meeting spaces, or equipment.
That doesn’t sound like a recipe for disastrous lobbying, and shady dealings or anything

Yeah, totally. A person proposes to do something that would make a huge impact on millions and millions of families, and these two people say it can’t be done for reasonz. Then, one says ‘the real problem is the 40 hour work week’ like absolutely anything is going to be done about that. He’s living in a fantasy land which is way different than proposing something that will be hard to nearly being impossible such as big plans on health care, etc… That’s not even mentioning that these people are not reading the article and what the plan even is.
And then we have the dumbass choir chiming in that saying saying someone is saying something misleading about a proposal is now ‘stanning’. When people talk derisively about Bernie supporters, these are three that are in that ‘basket’ to finalize your Hillary reference.
