Whereupon We Pontificate About Poor Media Outlet Choices

It’s a sinecure that your parents have to buy for you.

This is legitimately insane. Who the fuck is taking this to come out and get a gig economy job on free lance?

Trust fund babies. That’s the point.

I think if you’re a rich kid with parents that have connections you can probably get a pretty good job with any degree that has “data” in the title. There’s a lot of money floating around out there that is earmarked for “data analytics” start ups and data initiatives at large companies.

Similarly with the Anti-Anti-Fascists. Hmmm…

If they’re going double negative they should go the whole hog. PG doesn’t not tell pro-anti-pro-anti-racism opponents don’t not not buy our tea.

Seems like the classic “everyone comes across really dumb and stupid” situation.

You’re missing the point, of course, which I now expect from every post of yours. (And, yes, I realize that responding to your posts makes me part of the problem.)

My pillow is 40% of Tucker advertising.

One of contemporary society’s most shocking group think / cognitive dissonance issues is journalists collectively as a profession being insistent that they are a critical component of a functional society because they are the uncompromising bearers of The Truth, and at the same time they are simply incapable of calling an obvious lie a lie. The lengths they’ll go to to avoid it are laughable.

Not crossing out “Opinion” in the edit suggests the problem extends beyond the profession alone

How would the coverage of Covid / protests / etc differ if so many of the big players hadn’t bugged out of the cities for greener, more spacious pastures?

Damn, I remember reading Mad Magazine as a young boy, the folding gag thing was always impressive. Can’t believe he’s been on this grind my entire life, what a ride.
