My guess is that Rupert is upset that Tucker has given up on his Stop Trump (until he wins the R nomination) agenda prematurely.
0% he’s running for President. Trump has already clashed with Fox News and won several times. I know he’s their number 1, but he’s still Fox News. Trump is the party. Carlson has to know that.

a normal person would think this, for sure. but fox was already talking about how they were just going to try and write off the lawsuits on their taxes… seemed up until this morning they were very much in “just the cost of doing business” mode.
I would guess some kind of egregious personal conduct. Sexually abusive definitely on the bingo card and probably the favorite, but really anything is possible with this guy. Highly unlikely he quit, it doesn’t make any sense to do it suddenly.

Carlson has some extremely heterodox-for-Fox viewpoints. Kind of right-wing populism. Which are popular and lucrative in that many viewers like them, but probably not the kind of propaganda that the Murdochs want to be putting out. So if Tucker wasn’t groping the producers or something, getting rid of Tucker will probably be bad for revenue but good for business? Best I can come up with.

I’m not sure I posted it, but I definitely read a lot of stories about Lemon being a diva and an asshole to his coworkers and, in particular, women. Basically you’re typical jerk to everyone but sucks up to the boss so the bosses kept him on, but his comment about Nikki Haley being over the hill because she was over 40 combined with years of scumbaggery finally caught up to him
