Whereupon We Pontificate About Poor Media Outlet Choices

Gotta love this asshole complaining about how people that want a decent work-life balance are just lazy, when his opening premise is like the laziest, bullshit arm-chair speculation:

You hear these all the time now. “I want a career with a purpose,” which usually means an activist.

Guy probably makes mid six figures farting 1000 words a week.

The they have the gumption to paywall the article, like anyone wants to see what else this lazy pos wants to say that he hasn’t said in the first few lines.

My favorite comment:

this “old man yelling at cloud” article does an excellent job trading in generalities while providing no statistics whatsoever… who’s lazy now?

This aged well. wait did she really write that first article about the coming red wave because of this?

It was just about that point the Democratic Party made it obvious they’d gone far left on issues of crime and punishment. Then Afghanistan, illegal immigration, inflation and wokeness in the schools. Those things would leave voters turning against a ruling party, and taking from it some of its power.

And then turn right around and write one about how if gop doesn’t get serious about policy they will lose again? With no introspection about the first article?

Came here to post this though.

Elsewhere in the midterms, moderation proved a virtue and extremism a vice. Voters preferred civility to conspiracy, decency to divisiveness, reason to resentment, sanity to screaming. Tinfoil hats in both parties failed to win purple places; the sensible middle prevailed.

One bright spot in the cycle: Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Tex.) narrowly beat back a primary challenge from his left in the primary and then easily won in the fall.
