Anyone have Italian recommendation?. I want to take my wife’s family out for pasta after the wedding. They have very very very conservative taste so I’m not looking for anything incredibly unique. So far I’m thinking Scarpetta but not sure.

Had lunch at Esther’s Kitchen, which some locals say is the best real Italian place in Vegas. It was only 7 or 8 blocks from my place, and it’s smaller than I would have thought. I walked past it twice, but eventually found it. One of my Uber drivers said you’ve got to try the bread dipping sauces, so I ordered the fresh baked half loaf of sourdough and the basil ricotta. That’s butter in olive oil on the bottom, and the basil ricotta on the top. The bread was super hot and fresh and melted…

Carmine’s in the Forum Shops at Caesars has stuff served family style if that makes sense for your group. Giada has a nice view, but you have to pay extra for the window tables. Battista’s Hole in the Wall behind the Flamingo will give you that old-school traditional vibe. Eataly at Park MGM has a lot of options.

If I remember correctly Esthers is pretty small and has a pretty casual type vibe, so even though the food is great, It might not be the best nice dinner out on the town type place

If you’re willing to go off strip and want an old school Vegas Italian place, go to Piero’s.

Bonus: it’s where they filmed the restaurant scenes in Casino.

My wife and I have 1 elite dinner in us alone. I’m torn between Kabuto and Bazaar tasting menu. I don’t know if I have ever had a legit revolutionary sushi experience so I’m leaning towards that.
