Was just watching SNL and noticed Maddie Rice is the house band guitarist now. Following in the footsteps of G.E. Smith and Dr. Luke!
Sadly, Dua’s cuts were pretty weak imo compared to what she normally rolls out. That stage is tiny and doesn’t support a dance routine; should have went with vocal line over dancers. It also didn’t look like her normal band and was a significant downgrade. Her recent Tiny Desk was way better with a backup line:
