Would anyone object to a Walrus Quickie? I’m thinking max 10 entrants and 5 categories. Bang the whole thing out in a week or less.
Don’t want to step on anyone’s toes here. We can continue to enjoy this well-marinated work of art like the slow drip of pride/joy/pain as you watch your child grow, a few seconds at a time, across years and decades, stretching back into a time you can hardly remember and forward into an unknowable, inevitable success.

I was thinking about this earlier tonight as well, though would also put forward the idea of a turbo-Walrus that was say 3 categories but possibly allowed a few more entrants.

I legit cannot distinguish between half-a-dozen songs submitted for the instrumental category,
and I’m hiring back on with a previous employer, while trying to maintain part-time employment with my current employer simultaneously.
basically, instrumental was a poor category choice, and
I havent the time to fuck with shit that is impossible to judge for homogeneity

I don’t want to drag this out too much for people, but if I’m not mistaken the two remaining categories for Rivaldo are Instrumental and A song that deals lyrically with the topic of family.
@CanadaMatt3004 and @Rexx have already been sent all the songs for each respective category so that they could judge them when Rivaldo previously opted out. If they are still happy to do it, we could just revert to that plan really easily and have them reveal those categories, KingofNY do his, and this Walrus is done with all reveals playing out?

lol yup I dare say that bird has flown the coop. Makes sense to just wait for King’s reveal now I think and call this one a wrap. I’m going to listen to all those cat 3 and cat 7 submissions now though for funzies.
I will still pronounce my songs as winners. In my own mind anyway. Actually I don’t think my family one would have made my top 3, there were some really good entries.
