I loved this song growing up. I have some mixed feelings about the lyrics now days, but I give them the benefit of the doubt.

Audioslave’s debut album should 100% be in the conversation of best debut albums of all time.
All 5 of the released singles are certified bangers, and interestingly enough, of the non-singles on the album, i would actually put this as 4th best behind Set it Off, Gasoline, and Shadow on the Sun.
And yet, even the 4th best non-single almost cracked the podium here. Tom’s riff is great as always, but not as strong as like 8 others on the album.
God damn, what a great album.

Hey look, another album absolutely shredded by my discman.
This song is damned good. This was one of those songs where I started to realize I liked non-singles just as much if not more than the released singles. I don’t have a ton to say about it, just listen to it. Throwing Copper has to be one of the ten best albums of the 90s. Ill fight anyone who disagrees.
Other excellent non-singles, Iris, Shit Towne, Waitress, on top of the 5 major singles.
