I’ve listened to my stuff a few times each now, have a decent sense of where things are going to go, no promises but should be ready early next week.
Sorry, needed an early night last night, but I’ll get the scores done later today.
Cmon micro, act like you’ve been here before.
This is the most savage burn anyone will ever unleash in a Walrus.
Poor Yuv had to listen to so many songs he didn’t like.
Not gonna review every song like I sometimes do but this was great. I can sort of see the ‘marching band’ thing but it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of it and wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t pointed out.
I’m also enjoying this song.
I know this song but never knew it was Billy Joel.
The better Mac DeMarco song was mine. I saw him in concert before COVID times and he was crazy. Such a fun show.
To be clear: you mean Saturday, right?
Eyebooger finishes mid table again. Eyebooger’s lead now at 10 points. Double rigged!!
(Apologies, better late than never.)
Good choice and a worthy winner imo.
Don’t count me out yet. My trash submissions are out of the way, imo!
I probably wouldn’t choose to listen to this on my own but I think it’s pretty good.
Disagree
you are a wise man. you should judge all walrus categories imo.

Who is ready for some retaliation-less judgements?
Oh this is going to be much needed, feeling low energy and was maybe even gonna take a nap, but now I’m gonna get on the treadmill and listen to each entry. I’m also trusting that the @ order is the podium order, godspeed.
As a reminder:
Category: A song from a top 20 album that was never released as a single. Lets keep it to US charts. Aside from that, any chart should be fine.
So, are we going to find some fantastic examples of hidden gems off amazing albums that can’t be missed?
Or are we going to find out exactly why some songs are released as singles, and others aren’t.
If I were a betting man, my money would be on a little of column A and a little of column B
Also, its quite amusing how pandering some of you are now that you know my tastes.
You know who you are.
I painted myself into a little bit of a corner here.
Im trying to find the best way to balance the fact that although these submissions aren’t singles, a lot of them are songs that I not only certainly know, but REALLY enjoy.
I also don’t feel that I can deduct for that fact, as I explicitly made the category about big name albums, of which I was bound to have quite a few.
That being said, I am unlikely to deduct at all for anything I am personally familiar with and have decided to grade these outside of any pre-existing feelings of any of the songs that appear here.
now I’m gonna get on the treadmill and listen to each entry.
Surprisingly, considering my love of funk, there are very very very few high energy entries here. Treadmill use is discretion advised, as you may nod off while listening to the nodium.
Hmm.
