Told you he’s popular. I like this one more. Has some cute 60s-70s vibe to it. I’m also scared of the apparent Mac Army that stayed dormant here for years and has now awaken.

I was pretty amazed given the category and the fact i didn’t even know who he is.
Later I found out he was on Hot Ones so obviously he’s more famous than I thought.

This was a huge radio hit in Israel when it came out. I actually thought at the time it’s a super clever pop song that subtly mocks the industry. It’s very tongue-in-cheek (I think) and the kid can sing. Kinda surprised he didn’t do better with the rest of his career.

Mark Ronson is stupidly good at his job. Rod Stewart was good at his job. The guy singing is good at his job. A$AP Rocky is serviceable. I’ve been humming ‘In a Broken Dream’ for the past week so there’s that.

This was the only song I didn’t know and actually liked. That’s good enough to easily win the category. Reminded me of a hipsterish version Bran Van 3000 - Drinking in L.A., but then i realized these kids probably weren’t even born when that came out and i cried for a while.

Thanks for the reveal. I don’t envy you having to work with those ingredients and I freely admit I didn’t put too much thought into your category. I put it off until after all the other categories because I thought how hard can it be to find a decent song with 10M youtube views… still kinda hard if time is running out. Let me add that that I actually like my submission and I listened to it a bunch of times lately.
