Looking back at that spreadsheet, I got both members of Outkast, Ludacris, Diddy, Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, ODB and Redman. Definitely a more interesting hip hop label than I remembered drafting.
Man, I got some great value in the double rounds. Leonard Cohen, Roy Orbison, Randy Newman, John Cale / Robert Fripp (to collaborate with Eno obv), and Etta James / Isaac Hayes. I almost got the Traveling Wilburys back together but I couldn’t land Tom Petty.
I have somewhat specious memories of BBV (and a lot of things these days from that time period) but I do remember your posting and things like that.
One of my favorite dumb memories of Other Site is one night when I got home really drunk and went to the low-stakes MTT forum. People were nitting the shit out of it in a bunch of their posts so every OP where going all in was better than what OP did I bumped with “Shove you have the nizzles.” Like a dozen threads, lol.
Lol, I didn’t know he was here. He found me on Twitter last year I think so we caught up a bit and chat from time to time.

I guess I’m not 100% getting how this submission fits this category? It’s a DJ doing DJ things. So definitely feel free to complain about how I rated you too low for not understanding this one. But ultimately it wasn’t something that I would really listen to much, so it was doomed either way.

I was tempted to submit something from The Moon and Antarctica for category 5 but I decided to go with something I had some confidence meb might not have heard. If I really wanted to game the category I would’ve just sent in my favorite New Pornographers song, lol.
