This was by far my favorite category. I will likely have liked this more than the next one (which I will apologize for at a later date).
Feel free to post your 2nd guesses or film scores you wish you entered. I love this stuff.

I knew I should have quit after not getting last in a walrus. I do think my last entry is alright though.
This is the video game song I wanted to submit but didnāt think Pauwl would care for it:
Hmm wonder why my videos arenāt embedding? Solved!
Nice reveal Pauwl. Much appreciated.
Bout to hook a brother up.
at least we can all agree iām being systematically cheated.
Gotta say, also, that as a fan of indie rock theres a TON of post hip hop that you will adore. Rock and Hip Hop have so many similarities in their evolutions and sub genres that books could be written.
The beauty of this joint is how Dilla takes the essence of all things ethereal Kraftwerk and makes a cohesive track.
1st one is really good. Never heard it before.
I play that Fahey song every week. Itās the 2nd one of his I learned to play in entirety. I warm up with that or Sligo River Blues usually. You would get a super unfair familiarity punishment lol.
this is bgm (as most open-world game music is) so itās meant to be more ambient than telling a story, but itās one of my favorites
while itās your god given right to judge things wrongfully, i look at familiarity differently. Like weāre trying to pick songs we think you would like that we like as well and arenāt extremely well known. It is a weirder game to try to guess which songs you never heard of based on only knowing that you love radiohead and beach house.
what is post hip hop? there were a million dj shadow songs i wanted to put, but basically all of them had some sort of lyric.
Yeah that first track is real nice.
Iād love to do an all video game walrus but not sure weād be able to drum up enough customers for it.
Are you actually mad?
lol no
but also very
@pauwl is the man. he went through like 500 entries in a week and this thread is a beacon of light in the darkest of times. heās also a terrible corrupted judge.
Just put āEndtroducingā in the thread. Its the holy grail of post hip hop and should be listened to in entirety. Its a masterwork that will never be outdone and is amazing when you actually consider the nuts and bolts of the songs.
Mainly funk and soul samples. Probably no other album changed my musical palate more than that one. I could blather on about this album for as long as anyone will listen.
