How did she like Oxenfree?
Thought it was a bit strange in parts, but overall liked it and rated it slightly above Edith Finch. Probably 8/10
This looks AMAZING. I enjoyed the first one. Switching from 2D to 3D alone is too fun not to get into it.
Speaking of BotW, can we drop some kudos on this amazing soundtrack?
If you skip to 5:53, youāll hear one of the most fantastic piano compositions of any era. It neatly transitions to a soul-satisfying violin rendition of the Zelda theme at 6:40.
Iām in love w/Kassās little theme song in BOTW.
Best gaming soundtrack of all time? Mineās probably Final Fantasy 6. Silent Hill also had some amazing soundtracks. Icoās is quite memorable as well.
Been listening to this in my car btw. Soooooo many good tracks
OK, you convinced me on CrossCode, itāll be my next game after finishing up BOTW and maybe another quick LA playthrough.
I already have a backlog of like 20 games though that Iāll never get to. Bought like 6 main titles when I got the Switch a year and a half ago and every time I see a sale in the online store I buy a couple indy games. Main issue is that I just donāt do as much gaming as I used to. Maybe like 5-10 hours a week max on average.
Huzzah, I got one!
āOrcs must dieā (1/2/Unchained/3)
I havenāt played 3 yet but had a lot of fun with the other ones.
If it makes you feel better, I put in like 15-20 hours in BOTW and gave up on it. Maybe I wouldāve liked it when I was younger but itās just not my kind of thing anymore; I found it tedious and strangely boring just traipsing around this giant world, fighting the same enemies and taking forever to accomplish anything.
It does make me feel better and less alone TY. Felt like I was the one person in the world not declaring BotW to be the best video game ever made.
Same. We do have the same taste in games. Lol
30 fps action games are fucking terrible across the board.
You also used to play Eternal, which Iāve gotten back into lately in spite of myself (I have a love/hate relationship with draft). Oh and Rocket League, which Iāve been off of for a while, although Iāll download the Switch version once it goes F2P and I can transfer my progress. I think what it comes down to is I only want games that I can complete something and get enjoyment out of in relatively short bursts - card games, Slay The Spire, Dead Cells, and lots of rogue-likes. I definitely have a love for longer, story-heavy games and still find a lot of enjoyment in certain larger games, most recently GoW, HZD, and Bloodborne, but Iāve definitely moved most of my gaming to those short-burst games on the Switch.
yep. Same. due to my attention span I can really only handle games in 5-20 minute bursts. Why I used to love CS as well. And street fighter/fighting games in general.
If you know what I mean
lmfao, is there really a ācomposing a haikuā minigame? This samurai game rules school. Iām gonna go stab some dudes and write poetry and shit like a boss.
This is exactly how I game now except I play HS BG or Legends of Runeterra. Every once in a while I binge on something like a good degen. I put like 50 hours into Grim Dawn in 2 weeks recently but Iāll probably go a few months before anything like that happens again.
Iām looking to get a couple new controllers for the PC. Xbox 360 controllers have been the standard and they are obviously great. Weāve been using PDP Afterglow versions and theyāve been good, except that my kids have abused them.
Any thoughts on Xbox One wired controllers versus Xbox 360? Looks like I can get the PDP Xbox One Stealth for $20, pretty much the same as an Xbox 360 PDP controller, depending on the day. They seem pretty similar.
