Someone should make a Arkham Asylum-style Batman game only set in the late-60’s Adam West Batman universe. Like, when there’s a fight sequence the Batman theme comes on and if you pull off a sick combo the screen goes “POFF!” “BIFF!” I would play the fuck out of that game.

They nailed it with Cuphead

Beat ghost of tsushima last night. Gonna go for 100% completion, that’s how much I like this game. Definite must buy if you are a PS4 person. I put it up there with horizon and god of war.

Rogue Company is a really fun 3rd person team shooter. In beta right now.

For 40-60 dollars, you get a lot of
Value with NMS

I got 100% on ps4 and there are some mechanics I never really dug into

Unrelated. I just picked up grim dawn + all DLC

If you like diablo 2, this is a must have game

I obv made a necro with skeletons (just need to buy another chest armor on eBay that gives +1 to teleport; best $5 I’ve ever spent. Nothing like teleporting directly onto a monster and having 25+ pets hit it simultaneously

Took me back to 2005

Seems like we may have similar tastes since those are the first 2 games I always mention as my favorites, guess I know what I have to do…

Actually supposed to come to Switch, so maybe I’ll try it out when it does. Another game coming to Switch that looks interesting is Othercide: https://www.othercidegame.com/. Already out on Steam and other platforms

It does get a little repetitive with the side stuff, such as finding shrines and other places that upgrade your stats. However, they made them plentiful in the starting area, so by the time that stuff gets tiresome, you’re already upgraded enough to handle the full game. I played on hard mode and died a fair amount but it wasn’t sekiro hard.

Combat is really fun and encourages you to tackle encounters creatively. There’s a variety of “styles” you can adapt but the game does a great job of not pigeonholing you into one thing. For instance, I hate stealth, but outside 7 or 8 small stealth missions you’re not really required to do it. There’s a system in place to take a bunch of enemies head on samurai-style called standoff.

It’s just great, I can’t say enough about how well designed the combat is and the story/visuals are superb.

Suggestions for a fun co-op game?

We enjoy puzzles and action platformers, like Zelda and Mario. My fave game is Link to the Past. Hers is Maniac Mansion. We enjoyed the Switch game Unraveled 2.

Are there other games that would enable a bunch of Unstuckers to play together? I have destroyed one or two Unstuckers at Mario Kart. Would be fun to fill an entire 12-person race.

Cuphead, Battleblock Theater, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Portal 2? Portal 2 only has a small co op area i believe but its def a game you can work through together taking turns or whatever and helping figure out the puzzles.

Nice

Thank you gents.

She loves Resident Evil too. I’d take a fps if it’s on the Switch and can use the controller like a gun.

A while back I tried getting a few friends in on playing team Mercenary Kings but it didn’t last that long. Also it’s not a great game, just OK. I’m sure there are other team platformers like that but nothing comes to mind.

Movin’ Out is a fun game, developed by 2+2’er ElKabong. (only local co-op, not online)

Splatoon 2 has great reviews and seems like it’d be super fun with 4+ people. Mario Party also.
