Yeah it’s a great value for $3 even if I only played it for a few hours total. Very addicting. They probably added more content since I put it down too
This is one of those you can easily play in between games. It’s great to play 30 minutes between tasks.
I just got a new laptop and snap bought all the survivors games. RIP free time.

Jmakin posted a video somewhere that I believe showed there wasn’t much difference between the versions (I never actually watched it but that was his takeaway iirc). My guess is that they’re making sure all the first party games run properly on older hardware, at least for now.
Vampire Survivors is great. The dev had an outrageous amount of updates with new content. Great game that you can put down after 30 minutes or play for hours while unlocking new weapons, maps, characters, and modes.
GOW looks and runs great on PS4, though I’m sure PS5 would be at least a little bit better. I’m like 40 hrs in. I’m basically at endgame in the story and just having a blast clearing out realms and upgrading all my stuff/finding good loot. Anybody with a playstation 4 or 5 should be playing this. Gonna win all the awards.
Realized I had Deathloop in my Humble Choice, so I was excited to give it a shot. Have barely played so far, but to this point, I love the look of the game - dystopian cities are always cool. Feels kind of like an above-ground Bioshock. And the voice acting is fantastic. Definitely sounds like the two main characters are true actors.
Looks like it will be an interesting, unique game.

The Devil in Me for PS5. Pretty standard Dark Pictures game. Run around trying not to die. Pick left instead of right and a character dies etc. This is the 4th installment. This game was better than the first two games, but not as good as House of Ashes. Just an underwhelming story and surroundings compared to House of Ashes. This one was like a murder house that I didn’t find that interesting. Some jump scares here and there but overall not very creepy.
I somehow luck boxed my way to the final scene with all characters still alive but one girl got killed in the last 2 minutes. Luckily, the game let me go back to the final scene and replay it from there and I got the “save everyone” ending.
So, who’s ready for the Vaal Cleave meta?

Yeah I picked up that month for Monster Train and Deathloop, still haven’t played Deathloop yet though and not crazy about Monster Train. If any PS5 owners are interested it’s currently $10 for physical at Best Buy.
