Unfortunately I can’t find any under 100€ (150€ for not total garbage). The total would come very close to the price of a superior Geforce 3060 Ti or 3070.

do you mean GPU?

Nope, I’m just a dumbass who didn’t read your post right.

It’s the thought that counts. ;)

So, yeah, upon further review, I wouldn’t mix two different brands of GPUs. I didn’t even think mixing different models from the same company was a good idea.

Why do you need two graphics cards? My 1080 is 5 years old and handles 4 monitors fine.

Really liking Plague Tale: Requiem. Visuals are top-notch, sound design and voice acting are fantastic, gameplay is solid. It’s a stealth action puzzler with outstanding production values, surprised by how it’s not getting more buzz.

after going like 3-20 as support today got frustrated said fuck it, went into the tank queue as sigma having a grand total of like 3 mins in the training zone with him and proceeded to win nearly every game.

broken hero, they need to dial him back. I can essentially 1 shot anything below 200 health and I am nearly impossible to kill. i guess he is slow as all fuck but it doesn’t matter, anything near you dies so people kinda run away from you. in bronze/silver/gold lobby i think it’s a huge leak not to just auto pick him. I don’t see any real weaknesses of his and he seems to do what rein does except better in every possible way.

Frame rates drop if a GPU has to handle more than one monitor. What resolutions do you use? Do you play games?

I had 17000+ damage and 26000+ damage mitigated as Sigma in a King’s Row game last night.

yea it seems like 20kish damage is about where he ends up at in a really good game. I get tons and tons of solo elims. I watched a lot of sigma/tank footage on OW2 last night and the prevailing theory seems to be for all the barrier tanks that you just use your shield selfishly and basically say fuck your team and play as a beefed up dps. Works fine for me, as many games as I was losing on support because dps or tank was terrible, playing selfishly and carrying works fine

I doubt that more than 2% of gamers with multiple monitors have multiple GPUs and almost every one of those will be two of the same GPU in SLI. A reasonably modern card will have plenty of juice to run games and as many monitors as you can hook up. I can’t imagine that adding an old card would ever give much of a performance increase, whereas I can definitely see it fucking up games that aren’t written to handle it (because nobody does this).

I figured out more too that he actually does have counters. people say winston does, but not quite yet at my rank - winstons usually overextend and you can just put up a barrier between them and a healer and they die if you can get a stun off.

when you start popping off as sigma the DPS start counterpicking pharah and that other stupid flying hero, echo? and if my dps is like genji + some terrible hanzo like it always is I have to swap to zarya. Zarya however kicks ass too so I don’t mind I just far prefer sigma. He can put such enormous pressure on a team by himself and kind of forces everyone to adjust to him.

If there’s some amazing deal for a new PC during BF / CM, please post here. Don’t need much, but should probably upgrade this 10 year old GPU and might as well get a new machine if it makes sense. Build or prebuild.

Not neccesarily amazing but if you are a Costco member their BF comp deals are normally pretty solid.

I see they have these three below

I’m also looking at getting a new computer and have been doing some research. These below seem like pretty good deals, but I’m also not super interested in researching components, etc. or building my own right now. From my limited understanding the 3070 build is pretty strong for like 90% of gamers and the 3080 build probably only needed for 1440p gaming (please correct me if I’m wrong). The other two options are cheaper versions with less hard drive space but still pretty strong computers.

I’m curious on your process. So far mine has been looking at two places

Stellaris is good. It’s more like civ than other PDX games. You will need a few DLCs to play the whole game. I’m hoping there is eventually a Humble Bundle with everything like they did for EU4.

It’s fun. A 4x balanced with civilization. The DLCs do add a lot to the game but not enough to justify their price I usually wait until the sales to pick them up.

Ghost of Tshushima PS5 on sale for $30, so I will probably pick that up. Any other good Black Friday deals?

Anyone playing GOW Ragnarok? I’m blown away. Feels like im 2/3 through the story and have been doing a lot of side quests and exploring in between story progression stuff. They absolutely improved upon the last game and I’m floored at how much there is to do and see, yet none of it seems boring. Unfair that this and Elden Ring came out in the same year because one of them is getting screwed over come awards time.

I finished it last weekend. It was alot of fun. Even better than the previous one. I got annoyed that I couldn’t complete a side mission because I did a related side mission first.

You can’t Lure the Drake if you already killed the drake shortly into exploring the crater.

Can’t decide between it and Elden Ring. Elden Ring was way harder but was it a better game? idk.
