Kenshi is the best game in the genre imo, although base building is only one part of it
Recently renewed my xbox game pass snd discovered Crosscode on the PC. What a great game! Its a weird, kinda grindy Shmup/Rpg hybrid. The writing is pretty clever and the spritework/artwork is super cute.
Recommended!
So I’ve played Kenshi and I honestly don’t get this take. What about Kenshi is better than Rimworld? I basically beat the game in <30 hours.
How in the world is there a 15.42 GB update for Rocket League
I did not care for the graphics and didn’t pick up. I did start playing Spacehaven, which is Rimworld in space and has some potential to grow into something interesting I think.
Liked playing Slay the Spire. The learning curve was enough that I felt frustrated at first but once I got the hang of it it really paid off.
Yeah its on game pass and im really enjoying it
STS is great. I put over 300 hours into before they released the 4th character and have yet to pick it back up.
Picked up Hollow Knight and Nioh 2 this week. They’ll probably collect dust for a few months unless we get quarantined though.
I found STS very frustrating, not sure why.
Hollow Knight is a can’t-miss, start playing now.

Really like strategy games, but not RTS as I like the strategy part but not having to quickly smash buttons.

I started it a few days ago. I switched to Nioh 2…oh man. I had to relearn the whole genre and it’s not forgiving at all.
Also, Rogue Adventure on mobile is a decent STS like game. I put about 30 hrs into it.
Currently playing the first Oni game as the sequel just came out and #1 is on sale for $5. Its ok, weird choice with basically no combat/auto aim, lots of jumping. Its pretty at least.
I am back playing hearthstone.
Is it fun? I installed it for BGs before they removed amalgam and then hit wild legend again. I deleted it again out of boredom and haven’t looked back.
Isn’t Magic:Arena strictly better? Free too, once you get the hang of it.
