i felt they did that on purpose to avoid succession problems since the game starts you out with a male heir, but idk
Head left as you leave the Stop room, and youāll spot the Knowledge (multi-colored brain) and Drink symbols (white figure having water poured into their bowl-head) on the wall with a doorway between them. Head through and youāll emerge into a room with two large statues of horses with many, many butts.
ok destiny iāve done a lot of weird things in my life but the fact this makes sense means Iāve played this for too long
I guess itās like Stardew Valley in some respects, but itās not really about optimizing or managing things. You have an island with some animal friends, and the point of the game is to customize your island and enjoy various seasonal activities.
You can do things like look for Easter Eggs leading up to Easter to get special items and crafting recipes.
I dislike animal crossing. I have considered using it as a way to date video game girls, but havenāt gone deep into researching that. lots of the reasons people like it are things Iād never be stoked about.
Never played an Animal Crossing game - seems like the kind of thing Iād get sick of in 15 minutes or play for 200 hours, neither of which is desirable to me.
Anyone play Scarlet Nexus? Itās cheap for a PS5 game on Amazon and the trailer was pretty hype.
Iāve been playing random PS5 games while waiting for AAA titles to come out. One that I enjoyed recently is called The Medium. Itās kind of a Silent Hill /Resident Evil kinda feel. It has a cool story and the gameplay is neat where you can play in two worlds at the same time in places.
Iām currently playing GhostRunner which is a crazy fast game thatās pretty much built for speed running. Iām just trying to play it at a normal pace and some levels Iāve died 161 times. Instant reloads after dying though. Needless to say, it can be challenging to get going in.
I liked the medium a lot
I was really hyped for Ghostrunner when it was free on PS+ but I could never quite get into it. I never felt like I had the amount of control I needed and eventually got tired of dying repeatedly. Definitely some potential there though, I could see why people might like it.
It has some game elements but itās basically a toy box/doll house. You change outfits and chat to your island friends. There are very loose goals like upgrading your house but Iād say itās more sea of thieves than even the Sims. If you canāt roleplay or feel silly dressing up etc itās not for you imo because the āgameā aspects are very light.
Looks like MW2 coming to ps5 in October. Will be Nube toobing everything
Likely the best Humble Bundle ever assembled.
The September Humble Choice bundle contains Crusader Kings III
Went Explosive Arrow to start, and this:
totally works, in all its memey, boomy glory. Weapon swapping to enable and then immediately swapping back to disable Ralakeshās Impatience (socketed with a single gem that you donāt normally have the stats for until you swap) lets you fire of Discharge with full charges and in theory limited only by the cooldown on Discharge. In practice, you have to do the two weapon swaps while standing still, which is not an insignificant downside! Itās also not trivial to keep the rhythm just right. Being off by one swap, or being fat fingered and hitting the wrong key, is a good way to die, because defenses are, shall we say, dubious. But when itās working, youāre booming nearly the whole screen for a >5 million damage hit that shatters everything, including map bosses, essence monsters, etc. Expedition monsters with high block chance areā¦inconvenient, but at least they move slow while you reload. The other downside is that with your boots disabled, your movement speed sucks, but this can be mitigated somewhat with withering step and the Rotgut flask, which, with one double weapon swap, gives you >30 seconds of onslaught, plus the movement speed from the flask.
the permadeath aspect of xcom i think is the worst one. itās a very frustrating player experience to lose your core guy on some 1/200 freak chance that the AI somehow always manages to hit no matter what you do. Iād far prefer that game do what FF tactics did back in the day - if your guy goes down, you have 3 turns to do something about it, otherwise heās gone forever. then it feels a lot more fair.
I started playing CK2 w/ Game of Thrones mod (both are free) last week. Steep learning curve but pretty fun.
Sounds like Midnight Suns is going to have some of that Mario/Rabbids based teamwork to go along woth its based Xcom gameplay. Bummed it got pushed to 2023
Thats xcom, baby
Yea Iām excited for it. For some reason I have a lot of nostalgia for the old X men games.
