Agreed, and Firaxis makes such great content, I really trust them with the IP

too bad that to this day you still cannot find a switch on the shelves, or I would maybe play it!

Goldeneye coming to Switch online. Thought it would never happen.

Huh? I see them in stock all the time. Are you not able to shop online?

Curious. Who owns the rights? I figured Rare did but it was never included with any Rare collections. Was this Nintendo owned/operated? Is Conker the same case (at least the original?)

I had heard it was Rare/Microsoft, which is why it was never expected to be included on official N64 emulators

Precious little gameplay footage for an 8 month release window. Will be surprised if they make this deadline.

Thats what I had figured as well, but MS never releasing it after buying the Rare rights made me skeptical

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Looks like they sold a license to Nintendo and will be releasing it on gamepass in tandem

They already delayed it from a planned 2022 launch, so I would guess they are confident they can make the date. I would guess lack of footage is about not revealing too much. You don’t really have to do much marketing for a mainline Zelda game, especially not for a follow-up to BOTW.

Fair point

Pretty cool piece for the Goldeneye launch

“Those who own a digital copy of Rare Replay will get the remaster for free.”

So if you already bought Rare Replay, Goldeneye will be no additional cost.

This is an odd wrinkle though

“The Switch version will be included in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack and will be the only version to have online multiplayer.

Zelda game looks sick. Beautiful title

Yakuza fans rejoice.

Yakuza ishin remake 2023
Yakuza spinoff game 2023
Yakuza 8 2024
Judgment series finally coming to pc. Release date…now.

Pain.

Yeah, absolutely no reason that xbox cant incorporate it with their infrastructure

Playing Foxhole. Newbie playstyle goes like this. Load up on weapons and ammo, run to the front line, get shot within 10 seconds, respawn way back, load up on weapons and ammo. I jest, I like games like this, strategic games where death means something, games like Eve Online. But part of the experience is that death is a pain by necessity and as a newbie you get to experience the worst of everything.

I might have to reinstall Planetside 2. Still has the strategic choices, but it’s not as clunky as Foxhole.

GE multipalyer wouldn’t hold up these days to modern stuff much but yeah people gonna play GE multiplayer on joycons on nintendo’s shitty online service is amazing. The nostalgia would’ve been fun for a day though.

I’m sure PD online is still there though if you want your fix; though it had various issues.
