My second pic is a perfect encapsulation of Trumpâs callous disdain for brown people.
Two weeks after Hurricane Maria damaged Puerto Rico so badly that over 90% of the island was still without electricity, Trump decided to go down there, and mostly complain about how much this cleanup and recovery was costing the rest of the country.
Then he went to a church in San Juan and do this:

Background:
The murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer brought a level of civil unrest to the US largely unseen since the civil rights movement and the assassination of Martin Luther King. Protests swept the nation, with a few turning into riots. The NBA playoffs, being held in a COVID bubble in Orlando, nearly came to an abrupt end at the hands of a player revolt connected to the protests.
Amid all this, Donald Trump, the law and order president, the man who promised to put an end to, as he put it, âAmerican carnageâ, was seething. He wanted the police, the National Guard, even the military, to go in and crack some skulls, and was angry and frustrated that it wasnât happening. In addition to that, he was reportedly furious at media coverage that implied he was hiding from the protests.
As always, there were tweets:
Finally, following a fire set at St. Johnâs Church, on Lafayette Square near the White House, Trump let all his frustrations boil over and seized his opportunity to be seen doing something â anything. He took a suggestion from Ivanka and led a small delegation to St. Johnâs for a photo op and some prepared remarks. To get there, though, he had US Park Police expand a security perimeter and kick out the peaceful protestors using tear gas, rubber bullets, and other assorted tools of fascism.

Why I chose it: This photo represents so many of Trumpâs worst qualities: the wannabe fascist, the fake Christian, the fake tough guy, the liar (he had his officials tell the media that the protestors were violent, when cellphone footage revealed that clearly not to be the case), and the television huckster (for thinking a photo op was a good idea in the first place).

Seems like there are a few opposite ranking systems for me for this.
Bible is #2 for the story and how heinous what the admin did to get that photo
My #1 and #3 for this category is still on the board.
Four Seasons is #1 for the lolz if you allow non-Trump photos, hurricane sharpie otherwise imo. Strong contender still on the board here as well imo, but might not be picked for a long time.
Iâve heard this take a lot and I donât get it. How do we know for sure? Is the viewer looking at the front cover or the back cover?
Those ribbon bookmark things are almost always attached to the top of books so if he was holding it upside down they wouldnât be hanging the way they are with the loose ends out, theyâd be flopped over the front or back cover.
So weâre looking at the front cover? And itâs blank?

Yeah I went purely for the hillarity. Bible ia great for showing how fucking awful of a human Trump is, but overall, its a lot less funny and a lot more horrifying what happened there.

I have seen books with the ribbon that comes out at the top, but theyâre rare.
Also I donât think I have seen a blank cover bible, but itâs not like Iâve looked at a lot of them.

I wanted Trump heaving with covid, but couldnt find a picture that captured it. So instead, we have trump going on a photo tour outside the hospital, with covid, putting people at risk out of pure selfishness.
