We started off the Trump presidency with an example of his vanity, when it became really important for some reason to insist that the crowd for his inauguration was the biggest, bestest ever and that he did not look inadequate compared to his predecessor after he predicted that it might be a record-setting crowd.
Trump vs Obama, whose was bigger?
It was an early example of how Trump cared about how he was perceived and how willing he was to lie about things with clear evidence to the contrary. And how willing his supporters were to believe him and back him up. It let to Kellyanne Conway’s defense–“You’re saying it’s a falsehood and Sean Spicer, our press secretary, gave alternative facts to that”–which set the tone for the Trump administration’s loose relationship with the truth.

Round 2, Pick 8 (?): Donald Trump gets to third base with an American flag at CPAC
If he can’t rape porn stars or his wife, sexually assaulting America will have to do. And man that picture gives off way more than a thousand words. Feels like almost anybody can put themselves in the position of the American flag there.
Round 3, Pick 1: Throwing a fit at 2018 G7 Summit
I mean you can just feel the world’s frustration at Donald Trump at that summit. Every single one of them is outright pissed at him. And that crossed arm position is not uncommon to Trump’s body language. It’s just everybody on one side of the table trying to explain how reality works and him refusing to accept it. Very much like trying to get a toddler to eat their vegetables.

All A material into the third round. Thinking of other presidents and Bush 2 has a couple that could compete (Mission Accomplished) but otherwise Trump owns the top 25.

Background:
Pope Francis visited President Obama at the White House in 2015 and they seemed to get along extremely well:
When Trump was elected president, it seemed only appropriate for the Pope to meet with him as well. However, the Pope was extremely critical of Trump and his plan to build a wall at the Mexican border during the 2016 campaign, calling Trump un-Christian, and Trump fired back in typical fashion, calling Pope Francis’s remarks “disgraceful”. So Trump was probably not on the Pope’s Christmas card list, and during Trump’s Vatican visit, it showed.

Why I chose it: I was hoping for awkwardness, and man, was I not disappointed. I don’t know which part is better: the Pope looking like he’d rather be anyplace else on earth, Trump grinning obliviously like an idiot, or Melania and Ivanka cosplaying as true believers.
