Trump Administration Part 2

I wonder whether this was the plan in buying Twitter in the first place. It may have been a more general “I can use this to grift” sense rather than specific about Trump.

I’m not sure it was the primary purpose but I’m quite sure it had been considered. How could it not be?

It also launched Elon’s brand to new heights as a fighter for FREEZE PEACH

1000% this. Everyone thought he was an idiot spending $40 billion and then tanking its value, but it was probably the best $40 billion anyone ever spent

Goes to show what happens when you’re rich enough to buy a monopolistic business and don’t have to care about profits. Some good capitalism did everyone there

Pretty sure he just wanted more likes.

At least we’ll all be able to wallow in Elon’s tears of value loss when he tanks the economy. Oh wait…

I’m legitimately interested to see how long MONEY PRINTER GO BRRRRRRR will work as the world’s reserve currency. They are definitely going to test it.

Eh he was backed by Saudi and Russian capital. While that isn’t exactly an uncommon practice I think it’s pretty naive to assume he wasn’t aware of the bigger picture.

Elon is like Bizarro Leo from Blood Diamond.

he’s in charge now. Elon’s the one running the show on gov’t shutdown. Trump only cares about looking tough or whatever he dgaf about the bill but it’s torpedoed now.

That’s why I wonder if this “President Elon” thing gains traction and irks Trump to the point he jettisons him, you know last thing Trump wants is to be seen as a figurehead (“no puppet no puppet, you’re the puppet!”).

Like early on I saw some tweets referring to Elon as the first lady, which is funny but despite the implication I don’t think it even bothers Trump, because in his eyes it positions Elon as someone subservient that he can slap around.

I think the days of „President Elon“ are already numbered if a multi-week shutdown hsppens. There are only three actors to blame:

A Elon
B Trump
C Democrats

I can’t see how C works once Repbulicans have a majority in both chambers on January 3rd(?)
Both A and B lead to Trump distancing himself from Elon.

Johnson says he has a bill in olace that the reds are happy with. Democrats should 100%, vote no on it. It oushes the debt ceiling out 2 years. They cannot give unfettered access to the debt ceiling on their vote.

I agree C is hard to see, but I could maybe see it since the shutdown would start on Biden’s watch and you just blame it on his weak leadership, or, a lack of bipartisanship by Dems who could have joined up with “moderate” Republicans to pass the bill.

Paper is slang for money. Rappers used is frequently in the early 90’s. Mostly west coast ime.

It was specifically a reference to the TV show Atlanta.

Don’t they then pass some bullshit budget that they know Biden will veto?

It might be a trim level thing, I don’t much about older models of the Ionic 5, only what the dealer was saying about mine… And that the 2025 N models will kill you dead!

2025 has the rear wiper, but it wasn’t worth $18k+. I plan on maybe a $100 worth of RainX over the life of the car instead.

Do you have a mirror or a monitor for the rear view?

Trump already did blame the incoming shutdown on the weak president when he was the one who torpedoed it. The political game sucks.
