This goes on the list of stuff I think they might actually do.
I think they want Georgetown and the exurbs to be safe, but who knows what they might do to DC schools and transportation.
This is not my prediction but rather my hope: as shown by Trump’s mismanagement of the pandemic, he seems hellbent on being able to tout a great economy/ stock market above all else. Given that information, I’m hopeful that remains the case despite him as of now not being expected to run again in 2028, which would in theory maybe hold off some of the Project 2025 nightmare stuff and give us more of the standard Trump administration imcompetence and fuckery and defrauding of the US that we bacame used to last time. Maybe Trump’s malignant narcissism could be the thing that keeps some of the worst stuff from happening. Idk

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Trump barely set foot in the White House this time around. If he wants to make Mar-a-Lago his own personal White House, who’s going to tell him no at this point?

True, but they’ll still be lots of lower level people still hanging around DC to run the agencies and stuff and Congress will probably still get together sometimes to vote on stuff, so there will be staffers and lobbyists hanging out. And those are the folks I actualy have to deal with on a daily basis. Even when he’s in town, Trump mostly just cruises by in a motorcade or flies overhead in Marine One.
So what do we know about John Ratcliffe, Trump’s new CIA director?
Probably being a SSC and everything but I think Trump is going to be non existent as POTUS his 2nd term. He’s lazy to begin with, and as someone mentioned earlier, who’s stopping him from leaving Mar-a-Lago? He’s certainly not gonna do anything to benefit anyone other than himself. Even his main grievance of the election being stolen is gone.
He sucks, they all suck, but I thought it was going to be like “Nick Fuentes, CIA director” so I’m slightly pleasantly surprised.

Oh Trump’s for sure just going to bounce between Mar a Lago and Bedminster like last term with public schedules of nothing but “Executive Time”, the difference this time around is his cabinet will be Trumpy psychos and not standard issue Republicans.
And I assume they will all be fighting each other to appeal to their dear leader. I can see it being a more dysfunctional cabinet than his 1st term.
