I think someone (Daniel Dale?) used to post the daily schedule, and it was comical how obviously lazy he is - the schedule would have like 90 minutes of actual stuff each day.
My current vibes are that version 2.0 of the administration will be the same ham-fisted clownshow that Version 1.0 was, rather than a fine-tuned, brutally effecitve version, which would obviously be much scarier. Fingers crossed that we just end up laughing about shit like whether infrastructure week is finally happening.

Vivek gonna be Elon’s towel boy. Like could Elon and Vivek even build a Lego set together? Elon will bigfoot him, and Vivek will cry to Politico. And how many employees will Congress fund for the department of government efficiency with like a four seat GOP House majority for two years? Gonna be like 20 people, maybe a few with some general idea about how government works. If anything, Elon will do for the government what he did for X.
This just seems like a payoff for Elon and Vivek to get billions in personal tax cuts related to government employment. I predict there will be exactly zero improvements in government efficiency in four years.

Uh, no shit? Cutting regulations and gutting the Federal government has never been about efficiency. It’s about letting the ownership class run roughshod over the rest of us.

anyway I just came back to see some comments reality is it doesn’t matter, at this point everybody’s got to make an individual decision and the only fortunate thing is trump is very lazy so you’re not quite sure what all will get done or not.

I honestly don’t think Elmo would have the actual authority to do anything. The government is mainly social security, defense, INS, criminal prosecution, state department, CIA, FBI, FAA, Agriculture, EPA, Diplomatic functions of State. What Elon gonna cut? You could maybe get rid of stuff that mainly helps black people and immigrants, but that’s like 1% of the budget. Republicans in Congress have been learning this every two years for the last 30 years.

If Trump I was chaos, Trump II will be randomness (plus some tax cuts and deportations). Trump will have maybe three hours of focus per day, and each day he’ll forget the previous day.
Vivek actually believes that government employees just sit around and create regulations to give themselves something to do. He earnestly thinks that.
