But for real I think the stunts are a big part of why MI2 has not aged well. Do you think Tom.Cruise actually did the above motorcycle stunt? No, but the movie is stacked with dumb stunts like that, so the whole movie ends up feeling less real than any subsequent entry.
M:I-2 being such a waste of Anthony Hopkins is unfortunate too. As a big Hopkins fan I hated how little he was given to do.

I have a hard time with any list that puts Oblivion and War of the Worlds this low. I’m guessing the author isn’t into sci-fi. He is super into the Mission Impossible movies though. I also liked Jack Reacher and Vanilla Sky a lot higher than where they’re ranked. And Tom Cruise was great in Magnolia, but it’s not the 3rd best of all those movies.

I don’t get why people are anti-War of the Worlds. It’s like top 10 most tense I’ve ever been watching a movie. And Oblivion is a perfect pure sci-fi movie imo.
Lol I just noticed Days of Thunder at 11. Sure dude. Literally one of the most forgettable movies I’ve ever seen.
I feel like I’ll remember Days of Thunder, but not for positive reasons.
When I think of Days of Thunder I just think about Don Simpson’s depravity. Those stories are being lost to the sands of time. I highly recommend the book “High Concept” - it’s out of print but you can find it used.
