TJ plays a ton of poker in Vegas for WSOP! ...And occasionally eats

Will they offer the option to just do it on the spot. It sounded like there was room, unless he was being kicked out because he had someone else’s reserved spot.

It would have been interesting to see the flaming that would have happened if he posted pics and prices of that food itt.

Playing open face pai gow, drinking mimosas and tipping and ALMOST back to even lol

Looking at the website, the cheap seats cost $150 for the day (including five drink tickets) and the seats in the middle cost $300. The tables are $3000 for a full day and comes with " a call open bar, premium bottle service and stadium style food offerings from Victory Burger and Project BBQ".

Pai gow was a success, got a chip for the collection, and +100 after tipping and drinking 5 thimble-sized mimosas. Definitely should have done that at the Wynn instead of an abortive 15 minute craps session with all that dry powder burning a hole in my pocket.

One of my Uber drivers said I should check out the lounge on top of Circa, you can see the whole city. So I’m heading there next.

I’m looking at the website for the Legacy Club. Says it opens at 4pm and " Swimwear, sandals, shorts, ball caps & knit hats, graphic/worn tees, sports apparel, hooded sweatshirts, exceedingly torn or baggy clothing, and athletic shoes are not permitted."

Yeah, struck out as it’s not open

Plus I’m dressed like a plebe anyway

Due to the staffing shortages, you really need to plan in advance for stuff like meals in Vegas right now.

Love needing a wristband to watch the big TV. How have we not made Las Vegas our national capital yet?

The Legacy Club sounds like a place for very serious people conducting very serious business.

You can only get in if your dad was a member.

Sounds like an opportunity for Air Bnb’s.

It looks to be a $20 cocktail kind of place. $150/person for two cocktails and a seat at a firepit to watch the sunset.

Getting hungry, so I wandered around Fremont street looking for something to eat. It’s definitely still a Vegas-style sensory overload kind of place.

The street performers are definitely…. Something.

I saw a sign and stopped into Binion’s Cafe, where I found a reasonably priced $13 chicken Parmesan, which was fine.

On the list for some uncapped 1/2 at the Golden Nugget, here we go!

These really are some sad Vegas meals.

I know, it’ll be easier to explore the better restaurants mid week

At that price point, I prefer Magnolia’s at the Four Queens. They have some cheaper player’s club specials that are not on the website menu.

Did you see the guy who lets you kick him in the crotch?

Is there still a McDonald’s downtown? I remember grabbing something there when I was covering the final table of the 2005 Main Event.

Also, I love how everyone is shitting on TJ for his meal choices. It’s just funny because on the one hand, hey, you do you and go to some places you want to try or grab something that’s convenient, no problem. On the other hand, $108 for a waffle and coffee is hilarious.

Also, I used to grab pretzel dogs at Auntie Anne’s at the Rio. I enjoyed the little Chinese place next to the sportsbook, too. Basically food court-type food, but I liked having a little quiet time and watching some games. But that was a decade and a half ago, so I’m sure none of that’s there anymore.

BOOM just hit a high hand bonus at the Nugget! It’s a progressive that pays out double before 2 pm, and I hit quad 3’s at 1:59, good for $1,198!

AND I flopped a boat the next hand so I’m up 100ish from actually playing, lol
