We have an outdoor camera and someone bashed the window of our neighbors truck around 1am and in about 15secs the dude living there is seen running out the house with a crowbar hit him with it. Dude laid there for a long time. It was incredible how quickly the guy saw it and got out of his house to act.

I used to play 5/10 and then walk or take the bus home. Not smart! Never had any trouble though.
He was okay. He laid there for a long time unconscious, regained and sat there for a few mins and then walked off. The guy from the house was wearing what looked to be boxers so I pictured it as him literally hearing glass break, jump up out of bed to grab a crowbar from wherever and literally run out the front door with zero regard on the threat.
What did the other guy use to bust the windshield?
I was told it may have been a sparkplug, I couldn’t tell.
To be honest I played that home game 3x a week for 18 months and that was 1 of like 3 times it ran I was unable to play. Got the story the next day.
We’re Canadian, no one was packing.

The other time I missed it they had the dude who ran the biggest game in the city there and he clocked a guy in the face.
Basically nothing interesting happened when I played but it was a 10/10 home game. Host looked like Goran from Barry but acted like Hank. His wife would cook us a 4 course meal every night. Free alcohol of your choice.
What was the rake?
I definitely wouldn’t fault anyone for thinking this story was full of shit after rereading what I wrote.
Like 10% max $5, good dealer and the dude would take the rake and use it for splash pots

It was. Guy was way too nice and gave a few whales credit and it killed the game, but for a year or so it was literally perfect. Was real close to where I lived too.

Anytime I’ve been carrying a lot of cash at a casino/card room, I always valet park. Walk right out the door into your car and a lot harder for anyone to follow you that way.
If you’re a regular at a place, you can always look into getting a box too so you don’t have to carry cash.
