I wasn’t really into it, but my daughter liked it so I watched the whole thing with her. I feel like not much happened during the course of the season.
+1 to The Diplomat. I “accidentally” binge watched the entire second season this weekend when I definitely should have been doing other things.

I’ve now watched three episodes of this and it’s pretty strange but still worth it imo. Pretty explicit sex scene in ep 3 came as a surprise and had my wife and I worried our son was going to wander in (he’s 16, it would have just embarrassed the hell out of him).
“Hiya son, dont worry bout that, just your mom and I watching a hardcore sex scene.”

Was watching TV with my wife’s family and her dad fast forwards any scenes with kissing or anything more. Apparently he’s done this forever. Lol

Another one for diplomat. Only a few episodes into S2 but enjoying it.
If you like it so far, I think you’ll really like the rest. The last two episodes are the best part, imo.

Gotta admit I was less intrigued when I learned that young Catherine was once married to Sean Penn with a 30 year age difference. Gave me a case of the ick. It was pretty graphic but not all that sexy.
But loving Kevin Kline.
I liked it all but thought the ending was kinda dumb.

So confusing cause there is another show called The Diplomat
Definitely dumb, but that’s kinda what I love about the show. It’s soapy and cheesy while also kinda sorta getting the geostrategic stuff right. My undergrad degree is in International Relations, so horny/overdramatic discussions of realpolitik is basically my kink.

it’s an ok show, basically just something my wife and I will throw on when we have nothing else to watch. We’ll probably watch S2 but I don’t have real high praise for it
