Iā€™m not kidding if they donā€™t give us more waffle parties Iā€™m going to vote for Trump. You got to give the people what they want.

A character on a new show Iā€™m watching was described as a ā€œretired clickbait journalist.ā€ lol

Okay. Question.

In the millions of tv shows and movies set in the halls of American schools, has there ever been a character who used one of the lockers on the bottom row?

Always the top row right?

If they ever did, it would be an acknowledgment of low status for the character. I can imagine the geeks from Freaks and Geeks having done it, but I donā€™t know if they did.

I laughed like an idiot, by myself, at the scene in episode 02. Itā€™s not ā€œWKRP turkeyā€ funny, but itā€™s in the ballpark.

Somehow I completely missed Modern Family.

Iā€™ve just started and watched 9 episodes today.

Youā€™ll continue to enjoy that one if you were that into the first nine. Personally never got tired of it or felt like turning it off before the series was done.

Thatā€™s one of those shows that I enjoy once in awhile. Donā€™t think I could watch it often. Hotel room on a work trip, Iā€™m in.

Never vibed with Modern Family

the first season is top tier, it gets slightly worse every season, unlike many top sitcoms that take a couple of years to really peak.

Every episode is basically the same thing. Reminds me a lot of Frasier. Both use the same technique with respect to plot and just change the details each time.

Despite that, I still liked it.

Yeah. Some of the racist, homophobic and and sexist jokes have dated really poorly.

For example. The comedy is based on finding the line, going over it a little, and then half making a joke about racism and a comment on the character making it and half making a racist joke.

The line has moved so far since then that they just read as racisms.

They can generally pull it back somehow with the feelgood messaging at the end, so Iā€™m going to live with it

I liked Modern Family, although itā€™s a ā€œwhiteā€ show, as much as Friends was.

They brought in Kevin Hart as a new, abutting neighbor, zero chemistry ensued, and soon thereafter he was neither seen nor spoken of again.

For those not aware and will be looking to celebrate/drown your sorrows after Tuesday, Arcane S2 Part 1 drops Saturday

For election time distraction, binge watch The Diplomat on Netflix. S2 came out recently. 14 total episodes and enough story for 20.

My wife and I have watched three episodes (three? maybe four? I donā€™t know) of Agatha All Along and itā€™sā€¦boring?

Same sentiment. We started watching it and my wife made it to the end but I stalled out after 4 episodes. It has a great cast, the sets are incredible, the show really looks good, but itā€™s all kind ofā€¦ boring. It just exists and has much as it tries, it doesnā€™t have any heart.
