The Television Streaming Thread: Now With Felonies

Why

It’s an experiment to test the limits of your homegrown bud. If you can watch this on beetlejuice bud, you can watch anything

To be sure, Disney Plus also has cashed in on the global coronavirus lockdown, but many of the rest of the company’s businesses have been significantly disrupted by the crisis. Disney’s family-friendly streaming service surpassed 50 million paying customers worldwide, the company announced last week, buoyed by its recent launched in India and eight Western European countries.

Meanwhile, other “stay-at-home” stocks have also climbed in the past month: Amazon’s shares closed at an all-time high Tuesday, and they set a new record Wednesday after inching up 1.1%.

My favorite underrated Netflix shows are F Is For Family, American Vandal, and Santa Clarita Diet.

I also love I Think You Should Leave.

We’ve been watching Letterkenny lately on Hulu; it’s great.

My daughter tells me Big Mouth is excellent for teens and parents who want to understand teens. I watched the first episode and am not sure if I want to know that much but will persevere :eyes:

Indeed I am. Wanted to mix it up a little tho and go to the third season of Ozark to avoid narcotrafficer fatigue but whoops. Kinda forgot. Oh wells

Ozark is good. Narcos Mexico is better.

Bank compliance is about putting things in place that prevent the bank from litigation resulting from their activities. It had almost nothing to do with stopping bad activities.

Coming off Narcos, the baddie and the feds in Ozark feel cartoonish. Need to recalibrate my perspective to really get into it. Should be done this weekend.

To no one’s surprise Devs turned out to be total shit, avoid.

Please explain in spoilers.

Ty for the update. I was a couple eps behind, considering if it was worth catching up on.

I believe the rules of the primary say in the event of a top two tie, we are watching Swingers tomorrow

But Bernie should have won, so let’s have a new poll between

  • Die Hard
  • Hot Fuzz

Won’t be around to watch, but LOL at not saving Die Hard for Christmas.

We will watch it again at Christmas like any normal human that watches it at least three times a year

Total shit is a little much. The showrunner has some talent right but it was an 8 episode miniseries that could have been fine in 6 or even 4 episodes. There was no real surprises and no real payoff. If you loved Annihilation watch it. If you loved Ex Machina (heh…) and thought Annihilation was mediocre… skip.
