Star Trek Discovery is pretty good. Picard as well.
Lower Decks is better.
Fight choreography is easy to do. Iām more worried about the soundtrack. The music is the heart and soul of that show. Also, I havenāt seen Ed in any of the previews; I will not stand for Ed erasure.
fuck man you have so many good episodes ahead of you iām jealous of you

Itās free all day erry day on Adult Swim and Tubi.
Be honest, you were rooting for LIght.
Same. Iām not watching it. Bebop is in a small group of that golden age of anime that I keep in rotation yearly.
I tried to avoid reading the reviews on Yasuke but gave in and am probably going to pass on it also. Sucks as the OST is really good as is pretty much every thing that Flying Lotus produces.
Oh shit I didnāt even notice that Ed isnāt in the trailers.
I suppose Ed does come in midway through the series. Could explain not seeing Ein too.
Have you continued to watch? It showed early promise but the writing is very bad imo. There are enough good actors to make it watchable at least.

Still watching, still enjoying for the most part.
Donāt think Iād say the writing is āvery badā, though it is heavy-handed at times. The Amber/Billy storyline is the worst.
The acting is definitely the highlight.
Love the SNL clip.
Yeah, thatās what Iām getting at. Every point is applied with a sledgehammer.
Seeing an Ein but not an Ed. Makes no sense, those two were best buds. IIRC, everyone else on the ship found the dog mildly annoying.
Invasion is great if you view the first couple of episodes as some kind of nihilistic avante-garde form of story-telling.
Retiring Sheriff Sam Neill is searching for what his life of service meant. Then, thok, heās dead.
J-naut is having an affair with a mission control specialist (which I thought actually had a pretty good reveal), lifts off into spaceā¦ and sheās dead.
US serviceman in Afghanistan is becoming estranged from his girlfriend or something. Squad goes on patrol. thwap, all dead, the end.
Bullied English schoolboy goes on a class trip. The bus drives off into a huge chasm. Dead.
This is great. They should do this for the whole series. Different cast for each show. 15 minutes of giving us a character narrative and then have the over-arching threat of the show dispose of them indiscriminately at the end. Thatās not what they are doing, obv, but it was more enjoyable looking at the start that way. But I mean, Iām like 4 episodes in and Sam Neill is still dead, havenāt seen a single thing from that thread since the beginning.
The only story this doesnāt work is with the generically middle eastern family (wait, youāre middle eastern?) but that one is inadvertently hilarious anyhow. The husband at one point says fuck this shit, runs away, and tries to get a ride with the neighbors. This is exactly like the guy legging it from the avalanche in front of his family in Force Majeure. Am I not supposed to laugh?
And she caught him cheating, ok. Then she listens to his phone call where he says he loves the other woman. Then she finds sonogram pictures that the other woman is pregnant. lol, quit searching his phone, woman!! Itās not gonna get any better!
Catching up on the Cowboy Bebop discourse because I have nothing better to do: anime purists are upset because they donāt think live-action remakes should be a thing, gamergate bros are angry because they made Faye less sexualized, SJWs are angry because Ed seems to have been dropped from the team. This is going to be a show that normal people are going to enjoy and weird nerds of many different stripes are going to hate.
I am inclined to mostly agree with you, but I also think that the normies who you think will like it wonāt tune in.
the most recent episode of Vanderpump Rules
Saw mention of Utopia (UK), assume itās better than the US show? Though did love me some Arby.
Never saw the US version. It is inconceivable to me that there could be a better Arby than the UK version.
