I watched this last night, and thought it was really well done especially for a Netflix movie. Could easily have been a theatrical release.

The story is good but the special effects are also good enough while not relying on them. Daredevil was similar for this, while the CW shows seemed problematic for this.

Ugh, they completely run over the first episodes of the original, explaining who Jessica Hyde is her and her dadās backstory right after the credits.

none of the cinematographic style of the original. This is shot in the most bland of framing and style. The main crewās actors seems interesting though. It seems to work ok. The two villians, though, feel like cheap American photocopies of their British actors. Like their general proportions are the same and they look vaguely similar but the result is off. The yellow vinyl bag looks so blah without the supersaturation
yeah not going to hatewatch that. UKās Utopia was perfect in every way and I usually canāt stand anything on British TV. Unless Rainn is amazing then maybe but all reviews have said pass.
Iām not even a little bit interested in seeing how badly they fucked up the Utopia remake, and everything I learn keeps reinforcing that mindset.

When I want to show someone something to grab their attention I try and think of scene to grab it. Rarely have I said, just watch the first scene.

Itās a favorite cooking show with Roy Choi and Jon Favreau. A follow up to Chef, on of the best cooking movies ever made.
Highly recommend.

Itās the worst possible situation. Itās not so bad that I would immediately turn it off, itās not so bad itās good that Iād enjoy hate watching it, but itās not good enough to recommend. Itās just OK.
