Alright, in slow motion that is 100% an ass shotgun. I revoke my previous argument
Oh my fucking God The Boys S2 Ep 3 I fucking LOST MY SHIT at the whale scene, fucking christ that was so amazing
The Boys just consistently delivers.
I told my friend to wait for the whale scene lol.
I watched The Social Dilemma on Netflix. Mostly confirmed what I already knew/suspected. Everyone should watch. Truly terrifying.
Saw Rocketman last night on Amazon. Going in I was actually more excited to see Bohemian Rhapsody but I ended up liking Rocketman more in the end. Great movie. Taron Egerton was fantastic. Iāve known Elton Johnās music in a passive sense my whole life so it was really cool to see the story behind it all. Solid film.
Also I started The Boys because of you dingdongs in this thread. Iām on S1E3 and I gotta say, itās pretty fucking cool (and I donāt even like superhero stuff.) Looking forward to binging on whatever free time I can find.
Great decision. Please report back after S2Ep3 because Iām still laughing at that fucking scene
Canāt believe Iām saying this but same. Just started episode one. See if this can overcome my superhero hate.
Being on S01E05 right now, I agree with the +1 part, but I feel this might actually deepen the hatred while loving the show.
I hated The Boys comic but maybe Iāll check this out.
You know the story behind the casting?
Elton John heard Taron Edgertonās performance in Sing! and basically said he would only allow the movie to be made if they gave Taron the part.
Not sure if anyoneās mentioned yet, but as I am a sucker for all things Sherlock Holmes, I of course watched this the day it came out. Can report itās fun and charming and Millie Bobby Brown is excellent, Sam Claflin as Mycroft is delightfully hateable, and Henry Cavill as Sherlock is weird but it somehow works. Fiona Shaw steals every scene sheās in, too.
Itās really MBBās movie, though, and seeing all the articles and clickbait reviews talking about Henry Cavillās Sherlock Holmes movie is really incredibly tilting and is a perfect example of implicit sexism in entertainment journalism.
Been dying to watch it. Glad you like it. MBB looks like she killed it.
Itās based on a YA series of books, so temper expectations of seriousness, and know thatās the lens it takes into the world. Still better than a lot of other YA adaptations that have come out over the years.
Yeah Ive got this and the most recent The Boys to watch today. Gonna be a solid Saturday
More fun than They Might Be Giants?
I am watching the new Boys layer today too! Cheers.
Syntax indicates you might already be baked
They are fun in a completely different way
