I tried Ratchet and I wish I liked it but I just couldnāt.
Finished S1 of The Boys last night. We both loved it. Iām not a fan of superhero stuff (I donāt hate it either, just never bothered) but it isnāt at all a superhero showāitās more like a cynical take on the modern political atmosphere and our fucked up celebrity culture.

Dammit, I did another YouTube dive and in addition to my inability to stop watching Conan OāBrien clips, I stumbled upon the GOAT music video. Itās not new and I had seen it before (hell, itās approaching 1 billion views), but it had been a while and now I canāt stop watching it. Yup. She was in Mister Robot for a few episodes, too. Sheās friends with the guys who made the video.
The main actor is one of the creators/directors of the video. I watched a āmaking ofā video and the two creators said that most of the effects were practical. They mainly used After Effects to clean things up, add a little punch to a few things, and do the shaky cam effects.

GLOW is pretty great, fwiw. And also the documentary about the real-life GLOW wrestlers is great too. I tried to get Dvaut to watch them, but he never got around to it.

It gets better every time I watch it. So much going on.
Watched the first 2-3 eps with my daughter, but she got into an argument with my wife in the middle of an episode, stormed off to her room, and the show is on hiatus. Itās been two weeks.
Sheās also one of the stars of No Activity, which is a fun watch (so far).

Well, in an interview, the creators called it a āButt Cock,ā so Iāll stand by my position is this really dumb non-argument.
EDIT: The shotgun cocking sound is not in the actual song. One of the creators inserted it because he thought it would be funny and they thought it was so great, they kept it. They were right.
