So I was wondering if there was anything else by the Steven Conrad, guy who did Patriot - a show that I truly loved even though nobody else seemed to care about it very much which really just proves that the world is full of terrible philistines. Anyway, turns out last year he did another show called Perpetual Grace LTD that has been completely unheard of despite great reviews, probably because itās on lol Epix.
Iāve watched half of it so far. Itās darker than Patriot and even more difficult to sell in an elevator pitch, but by the middle of the 2nd episode is settles right into the same groove. It has a bunch of the same cast members as Patriot, plus Ben Kingsley being amazing, and Luis Guzman, and the guy who played young William in Westworld. Itās pretty much the same show in a different setting, and if I had any complaints that would be the only one, but Iām not complaining about that even a little bit.
If youāre one of the 6 people who also loved Patriot, you need to watch this. Everybody else, continue on with whatever inferior entertainment you normally prefer.
