The Television Streaming Thread: Now With Felonies

I was too weirded out learning that Eleven is British to pay any attention to the rest of the trailer.

Finally…September 16.

That makes sense. I imagine Bob’s not selling a lot of burgers during COVID. May as well get back to espionage.

New half season of Lucifier is out. Great show btw, this last season is a little all over the place so far but still quality.

Ya done goofed if you aren’t watching it.

I just watched the second episode last night as well. Really enjoyed it but yeah that was a lot! The first two episodes should easily have been developed into a full 12 season story.

Has there been a good season since… 6?

Haven’t watched a second but I thought he was an unexpected delight in Crisis on Infinite Earths. It’s on the radar :+1:

I’m kind of digging the CW show Burden of Truth. Stars Kristen Kreuk, who got her big break as Lana Lang in Smallville. She’s held steady roles since then. Nice to see her in this, a kind of further adventures of Erin Brockovich, but with a Chinese-Jamaican-Canadian actress in the lead.

A couple of her other costars have struggled after the show. Most notably, Allison Mack, who I’m sure will be shown for her role as a victim and abuser in the upcoming HBO doc The Vow.

I’m pretty sure that’s Allison’s voice at :29?

Oh yup there she is in this trailer :eyes:

First episode of The Vow already aired last Sunday. Pretty interesting. Mack is introduced briefly, but doesn’t have a big role in the first ep.

Oh? That’s what I get for canceling HBO. Thanks for describing the first ep. I may wait for it to air completely and then rescubscribe to binge it. Plus then y’all can tell me whether it’s worth watching :P

Finished Perry Mason. I understand the criticisms ITT but overall it was very solid imo. Looking forward to future seasons.

People talking about all these good HBO shows. Does anyone use Roku? I haven’t been able to log in to HBO since Roku got rid of the app, and there’s no HBOMax app to download.

New version of HBO 4.12.19 released August 4 for Roku. I can still access the app/channel on my Roku TV. Let me look into this a little…

Okay HBO Max not available through Roku, but HBO is fine. Lol at HBO for having three different versions of access and I defy anyone to explain the difference besides ā€œthis one works for me and this one doesn’t.ā€

HBO offers this advice to anyone struggling to access the channel through Roku:

If your HBO subscription was not purchased through Roku, try removing and adding the HBO channel using the steps below:

  1. On your Roku, highlight the HBO channel and then press Star button ***** .
  2. Choose Remove channel .
  3. Choose Remove to confirm.
  4. Restart your Roku player.
  5. On the Home screen, go to Streaming Channels and find the HBO channel.
  6. Select HBO .
  7. On the channel info page, select Add channel .
  8. Sign in to HBO again.

Thank you! So weird, I got a message a few weeks ago saying the HBO app wouldn’t work anymore. I deleted the app and searched for HBOMax to no avail. Who knew all I had to do was re-download the HBO app!

In terms of differences, some of the old streaming stuff doesnt work on the old HBO Go app, like friends, fresh prince, etc.

I’m referring to the new Perry Mason on HBO.

HBO Max isn’t available on my firestick because of some beef with Amazon I guess, also isn’t on my smart TV. I’ve been unable to watch HBO all summer they can fuck right off.

Just give me back HBO Now you idiots
