Yea I donât mean a water accident, I dunno, something alcohol related I guess but yea he was murdered. And yea wtf at his friend being just like eh I guess youâre on your own. And then the other friend he said he would ride with just leaves too without him? Wtf This text will be blurred
WTF at amazon. Looks like they dropped a bunch of shows to do deals with Starz/HBO. I really wanted to watch Rome again, guess Iâll have to illegally stream it now.
Gonna watch the new Tom Hanks movie Greyhound mostly because I listened to his interview with Dan Carlin and I love both of them. will report back shortly.
Wow Greyhound is super good. I didnât expect much since it came out apple TV but this could have been in the theaters. I tend to like submarine movies anyways, but this is great. Super intense. Tom Hanks crushes as always.
Honestly being in the Navy in WWII seems way worse than being a foot soldier. Iâd way rather be apart of ground troops. Being on a SUB would be absolutely fucking terrifying.
If you donât want to get apple TV and want to watch send me a PM
It was supposed to be in theaters, but Apple bought it after it was already made. With all of the uncertainty about Covid, Sony was probably just happy to get a check, and Apple gets a Tom Hanks war movie to bring in new subscribers.

Just watched Jim Jefferies newest special.
Meh first part. Great second part. Ending was the same anecdote he told in one of his earlier specials.
Didnât recognize any material I heard from when I saw him last year aside from the closer.
Heâs definitely taken out some of the darker elements in his material. Still funny though.
Just finished âThe Old Guardâ on Netflix. I recommend. Yes, itâs got a Highlander knockoff vibe but Charlize Theron does a great job at being âan old soulâ and the action is solid. History buffs may especially enjoy.
TL/DR: Senior citizens attempt to stay relevant in the modern world.
Sweet to hear. Trailers look great.
Charlize Theron is old?
Spoiler re: movie context:
She is her natural age in the movie but plays an ancient character.
Yeah old guard was not good. Cartoonishly boring âactionâ movie. Usually Charlize picks better roles, this was not one.
Well it was based on a cartoon, so yeah.
I dunno, I thought the premise was a clever twist on the Highlander thing. Wasnât too heavy and didnât drown in overly drawn out action scenes, imo.
Old Guard was a fine for a couple hours of basic entertainment. I wonât remember anything about it in 6 months, but it held my attention and I didnât find anything in it to hate.
Watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga last weekend.
I lost interst about 3/4 of the way through. The ending dragged on for 30 minutes longer than it should have. Will Ferrell movies are always hit-or-miss with me and this was a miss.
Confirmed. Wife and I are watching an episode per day during lunch. Love it so far.
Just watched Palm Springs, fantastic. Best of covid season so far
I started watching that but then my wife wanted to watch the Eric Andre special instead. (Itâs pretty good; itâs Eric Andre, and youâre getting pretty much exactly what you should expect from that.)
Is the anecdote the Al Pacino one? I do think that oneâs pretty funny, but he told it on his last special I think.
Mark Normandâs standup special on YouTube is really good, FYI.
I wanted this to be good. It was okay. My main issue was
no explanation for when they do or donât lose their immortality. Instead of that risk carrying weight and stakes, itâs just something that happens when required by the plot. Especially when someone is going to give a speech on the Theme.
Eric Andreâs stand up was kind of meh imo. Wasnât terrible but it pales in comparison to the hilarity of his show.
