The Television Streaming Thread: Now With Felonies

It’s on Netflix everywhere but America already

We gotta watch party that.

Uncut Gems goes on the “glad I saw it, won’t watch it again” shelf, right next to Darren Aronofsky’s entire body of work.

who’s in / behind this?

speaking of Comedy Central, has anyone heard anything about when Corporate will be back?

I’m interested in watching it once more. I said the same thing about Joker but rewatched that and was surprised at how much more value I saw in it this second time.

Still haven’t seen Mother, Black Swan or The Wrestler. Requiem broke me, never again.

Black Swan and The Wrestler are really good.

The stars are solid: Rory Scovel, Sasheer Zamata, Beau Bridges, and Mary Holland. Interestingly, two of the executive producers are Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Production company is Gary Sanchez Productions. As I said, it didn’t hit its potential, but still a fun watch.

I haven’t been watching Comedy Central regularly, but I was surprised to see it suddenly pop up. I hadn’t seen any ads for it on TV or online. It was filmed last summer in the Atlanta area.

I’m in the opening scene of Episode 6. My son is one of Robbie’s players in Episodes 4 and 8. My wife is a blur during the piano chicken scene in Episode 6.

EDIT: I just read that it is CC’s first “binge release.”

I’ve rewatched Black Swan multiple times. It’s excellent.

This is truth

Wrestler and Black Swan are legit good movies, and no where near Requiem. Not saying they are happy movies, but Requiem is something else.

I was trying to enthusiastically watch the entire series before the last season. Didn’t make it all the way through, but still enjoyed it.

Haven’t watched an episode since. I might rewatch and pretend it ends after the Purple Wedding. But man that ending sucked.

I haven’t seen every Aronofsky film but of the ones I’ve seen, all of them were excellent.

Requires a $10 or more donation to watch them, but Jonathan Frakes/Commander Riker performing the Kirk monologue from Wrath of Kahn is worth it alone

:hushed:

That’s not the vibe I got.

I’ve been spending too much time with SA.

You only had to name SA for me to know where your mind went
