How much you like the Shield depends on whether you think cops are heros. Same problem with Brooklyn 99.
BR2049 was outstanding. I mean sure itās not going to be an immortal classic like the original, but itās still one of the best sci-fi films Iāve seen in a long time. Some of the shots in that move are going to stay with me for a long time. If Dune is anything like that, Iāll be happy.
ana de armas on that billboard
Totally agree.
Iām seeing a whole bunch of GoT adds on this site today and wondering how pissed everyone at HBO has to be at the showrunners. It was one of the biggest things ever and people couldnāt wait for the ending and all the potential follow-up shows, and now, no one really cares.
/r/freefolk is pretty hilarious tbh.
I used to rewatch all of the existing seasons like a cocaine addict. A new line as soon as I sniffed the old one up. But now I canāt bring myself to watch a single episode. Even the great ones just remind me of how awful it all ends up being.
Exactly this. I rewatch HBO shows like The Wire and Rome every so often, but I canāt be bothered to rewatch any of GoT. I wonder how much revenue/eyeballs HBO loses because of the shitshow that is GoT last season.
Itās the best TV drama of all time, but that doesnāt fully become apparent until the later seasons, when the consequences of everything the Strike Team has done come back on them in a way they canāt get out of.
If you want to read more (and donāt mind spoilers):
Absolutely not. The whole point of Vic Mackey is that he thinks heās a good guy when heās really a gang lord operating under color of authority.
sounds like a YP.
looks like uncut gems comes to netflix on may 25th
Huh? Itās been on Netflix for more than a month. Just Canada Netflix?
guess so
Weird. I thought they put Netflix originals on all locations at the same time.
I had to turn uncut gems off, was getting serious anxiety
Ya itās the least fun movie Iāve seen in a long time. I ālikedā it as art but man it was torture to watch.
It was only in theatres in Canada for like 2 weeks then went to Netflix. I think it came in January or so.
Just watched Episode 1 of The Last Kingdom. So far there is nothing that makes me want to keep watching. Does this get better?
Iirc the action ratchets up toward the end of the season. But yeah of you donāt care about the lead despite his silly accent within the first few episodes why bother.
I think if you make it through the first three episodes and arenāt enjoying it, then you can pretty much give up on it. I watched the first three seasons and enjoyed them a lot, but I currently have no plans to watch the fourth, I feel like itās been so long that Iāll have trouble getting back into it.
Finished watching all eight episodes of Robbie (Comedy Central - they put all the episodes up on YouTube).
Probably give it a C, maybe B-. Excellent concept, funny actors, some really funny, laugh-out-loud moments, but there was something about it that just didnāt hit. Canāt quite put my finger on it. Still worth a casual watch if you are looking for a goofy, inappropriate comedy.
Plus, my son and I were awesome in it (he might have more quality screen time in this one show than I do in everything Iāve done combined).
