Yes, but I never finished. First two episodes I thought were very strong, especially episode 1. They lost me after that. With some characters I honestly couldn’t tell if they were going for a bad b-movie affect and dialogue, or if the actors/writers just sucked. I think I stopped with one or two episodes to go.
But good stoned entertainment, and the atmosphere/cinematography were great.

Maybe I’m the only casual CW nerd here, but this is a big surprise.
This departure comes on the heels of the season 1 finale bringing in one of the biggest possible supporting characters. Very curious.
I thought she was great in Orange is the New Black but have struggled with her performance as Batwoman. Still, I wish her the best and am curious who they will recast in the role.
3.5 on imdb is pretty rough but who knows how many votes are from deplorables.

They’re not making a show. They are rerunning the season that already aired on DC Universe. It was cancelled for reasons that aren’t entirely clear, despite Titans and Doom Patrol being renewed for a second season. This will get the hopes up for people who want it renewed.
I didn’t watch Swamp Thing, but I do like the first episode of Stargirl, which started up this week.

Honestly, I’ve only seen the first few episodes of Batwoman but Ruby Rose is by far the weakest part of the show.

All hail Denis. I am selfishly excited because I find the books to be impenetrable, but an amazing adaptation can do a lot to make a book suddenly accessible.
Stargirl was the show where I was accidentally hired for a couple days as an expert consultant instead of as a science teacher extra.
I’m keeping my expectations very low for Villeneuve’s Dune.

Also, his Blade Runner sequel was actually kinda forgettable tbh. It’s going to be a footnote in movie history.
