The Presidency of the Joes, part II: lol documents

You can’t simultaneously say the GOP is a threat to Democracy then also bend over backwards to incorporate their input on policy while saying stuff like this.

But they agree on donor cash infusions and that overrides all.

Forget that. Did you hear Trump did something stupid? That’s the real story.

Huh

Coincidence.

Good morning all.

Joe Biden has been president with a Democratic Congress for 6 months.

He has passed exactly no enduring legislation of any kind.

The Senate is in recess until August 9th.

Enjoy your day. And don’t forget to head over to ActBlue to show your support!

This is all Bernie Sanders’ fault.

Forgot to add while the supreme court and Republican state houses are making it nearly impossible for them to ever win again. I mean they might win a house or a presidency here or there but they sure as shit ain’t getting a trifecta again in the next decade+, and it’s pretty reasonable to assume the laws will only get much, much worse once dems lose power.

Their voters won’t constrain them anymore, they aren’t worried about losing reasonable voters, all they have left is a ton of loonies who want fascism, and the supreme court sure as shit won’t constrain them.

So we’re basically relying on Republicans themselves to be like " ok, that’s enough rigging " to stop them.

This is quite the hot take, especially with at least two senators who are basically DINOs.

LOL Manchin announced that he would support a very good voting rights bill at which point Chuck did absolutely nothing except waste another month negotiating with Republicans.

Just be patient! These things take time! I’ve been assured Biden is the most progressive president ever and so good things are coming!

They deserve a break.

I agree. All the senators are to blame as much as the president.

Wow, this seems great. Calling for lower drug prices. Why didn’t someone think of this before?

He’s going to walk this back big time after the pharma lobbyists talk to his admin.

“Foster competition” lol yea Joe the free market is definitely gonna solve this one

He means competition between pharma execs and shareholders vs. people that will die if they don’t give them lots of money. Ya know, healthy competition!

I’m very happy that Biden/Democrats are making non-competes a political issue. They are a scourge of the professional class, and I assume that reforming them would have like a 90% approval rating.
