The Presidency of the Joes, part II: lol documents

What do you mean by dems walk out? From w hat I remember at the time, the dem house as it is, not by state, had to vote for it to get thrown to the states which was never going to happen. It would have been a mexican stand off until Trumps term expired and Nancy became president.

It could not have gotten thrown to the states unless the dems consented IIRC.

Also you’re dealing with a very different group between senators and state legislatures. Mitch is old school establishment. Most local legislators are hard core trumpers and WAY more partisan.

For a state’s electoral votes to be tossed out, majorities in both the House and Senate must vote to do so. With the House in Democratic control and the Senate with Republicans, this would be all but impossible to pull off.

Less than a week. I expected new bridges by now.

The framing is ridiculous, but the electoral effects are going to be massive.

People are going to look at their lives in 2022 and 2024 and decide whether they feel like they are better or worse in 2020 and vote accordingly. This will be really bad for Democrats.

I for one am shocked that telling people they are going to get a bridge in 2023 didnt turn the tide.

Wait until the student loan debacle on the horizon (not even just the restart, everyone’s loans and payments and everything are going to be completely fucked up with inadequate support to fix it. Picture waiting four hours on the phone to fix errors in your new BidenBill)

I got a few emails recently that my loan service has changed (again) but “further information on how to make your payments is forthcoming” or some such nonsense. It’s going to be a mess. I only have $12k of federal left, but $60k state. I was planning to payoff a large chunk of the 8% interest state portion soon and just min pay the federal in hopes of some help at some point, but maybe I’ll just close the federal loans out to be done with the headache. Ugh.

Lololol fuck Joe Biden and lol olds. Gonna die just in time to escape the consequences of their actions one final time.

What is this gif from originally?

the only team that can remake the constitution is the republican one in the near term so careful what you wish for

correct, it’s simple there’s clear inflation and gas prices are high and kids gotta get back in school and learn and that impacts everyone versus whatever niche things democrats are doing

2024 won’t be as bad as 2022 and I actually don’t think it’ll be as bad as 2010 but we’ll see and it might not matter anyway

I’m seeing a lot of bitching about this score, but the net cost, even accepting the conclusion, is roughly the extra amount Congress is giving the military over and above what they asked for, every year.

Gas prices are like last thing I care about. It drives me nuts all the right wing peeps I know bitching about it. Maybe you shouldn’t drive a giant gas guzzling lifted behemoth? Choices have consequences. We are not going back to. 99c/gallon gas in whatever fantasy land they live in.

I know it isn’t scored this way but literally just dump SALT and the deficit is gone in reality if not in score

Tried searching the origin since I knew it was Steven Van Zandt, but so far this is about the best I could do: Dead and nearly departed Covidiots - #95 by sumey

No way progressive pass it with salt right? What in the absolute fuck

Iirc it was made by a 2p2er. Some poster (might’ve been Dominick of the famously slow pony) had the video and requested a gif of the nodding, and some one else obliged.
