In Oregon they caved and gave Rs a veto over drawing congressional districts this time around in exchange for them making it easier to pass whatever ultimately inconsequential policies the Ds wanted to pass. I mean the obvious play is to either wait them out, or make the agreement, pass your shit, and then be like “lol jk” and gerrymander them out of existence anyway, but the Dems just don’t have it in them to play hardball when it gets down to it which is why WAAF. These Texas Dems seem to have an inkling of how to play the game at least though.

Turkey is a NATO member, neighbors Iran, Iraq, and Syria, is just across the Black Sea from Russia, and is run by a testy autocrat. Seems real enough you wouldn’t want some Trump donor dickhead to get the job.

Zero chance r will pass simply because it would be a huge win for Biden admin. Number one goal is always deny democrats any victories. Even if it could personally benefit some. We might get like 55 votes or something but 0% chance it passes.
